Since a couple of days, I'm discussing with some users on Flow feedback page on French Wikipedia. We mentioned each-other sometimes and it appears we don't receive any notifications for these activities.
that's only on wiki: I've received emails about these mentions.
...shame on me.
Two users complained about that. I'm going to ask them if they still have that problem. Thanks Stephane!
I think it illustrates that those 2 buckets are somewhat arbitrary.
There's logic in surfacing new events in one or the other to represent urgency. When it comes to looking for old stuff, we impose on the user to memorize what is where and even we can't always remember.
Another good argument for T123018: Revise Sorting of Notifications on the Fly-Out Menus :) and we've already decided that we'll do that soon.
