When you search on you local wikipedia and no search results are found, it is always annoying to change to a wikipedia in another language to search there.
For this reason it would be great to have interwiki links on the search result page to be able to quickly change between wikipedias

You can try the following script: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/MediaWiki:Wdsearch.js
This already exists as a feature, it's just not enabled (mostly for performance reasons).
See T109957: Restore cross-wiki (interwiki) search across all public Wikimedia wikis and a few related tasks: T22603, T69895
Thanks, Sjoerddebruin. That script is pretty useful!
However, my suggestion is to add this feature to wikipedia.org so all users could use it by default.
Thanks demon!
The bug says:
The tl/dr of the current implementation is it walks through a list of wiki's to query and issues a query for each individual wiki.
I would not really expect it to query all wikis (I mean this would be great, but I can see the performance issue).
Instead simple links to search result pages of other wikis would already be fine.
Each individual wiki for which it's configured. It's not the cleanest implementation. Anyway, follow-up can happen on those bugs :)
