I would like to resign as the list administrator for the lgbt mailing list.
Please remove tom [at] tommorris [dot] org as the list administrator and add Laura Hale (laura [at] fanhistory [dot] com) as the new list administrator. I sought and got her permission to make her the new list administrator off-wiki a week or so ago.
If you are the current administrator, why wouldn't you wouldn't just make this change yourself? I'm guessing you've lost access to the list administrator password for this list?
I don't really see any upside to someone socially engineering a list administrator change, plus doing so via this means (phabricator) would require access to the users phab account, so I've gone ahead and made the requested change.
This doesn't provide Laura Hale with the new list adminstrator password for this list. Please share it with her, and if it has been lost, have her file a request to have it reset.
Please let me know if anything else is required.
@RobH Sorry, yes, I lost my list password as well. This seemed the quickest way to get it changed. Sorry if I didn't quite do it right.
No worries, I've triggered an admin password reset, and it's been sent out to Laura Hale's email, since they are now the admin of the list.
I didn't want to assume and change it without checking!
@tommorris: You did not do anything wrong, if you lost the admin password this is how you would go about getting things done anyhow. Its all good =]
