In Wikipedia app title for Sindhi is shown as سنڌي، سندھی ، सिन्ध, but I request to change it to سنڌي only. Because Sindhi Wikipedia is written in Perso-Arabic script, not using pure letters of Urdu.

I wonder if this data comes from UniversalLanguageSelector/data/LanguageNameSearchData.php but not sure how this is used / chosen, hence adding Wikipedia-Android-App-Backlog

The language name is fetched from a service at build time, so will have to be changed on server. We will rebuild language list to see if issue has been fixed.

The app retrieves the localized name of all the wikis through the WikiStats API:
https://wikistats.wmflabs.org/display.php?t=wp
If you look at the Language (local) column of the Sindhi Wikipedia, it shows as "سنڌي، سندھی ، सिन्ध".
As long as the service reports this name, this is how it will appear in the app. You may want to contact the admins on sdwiki about changing its local name.

Whoops, disregard my previous comment. It looks like we were using an outdated/incorrect API for retrieving the localized list of languages for the app. The above patch should fix it now.
