Can you create a new mailing list for Wiki Indaba Steering Committee (https://meta.wikimedia.org/wiki/Wiki_Indaba)

Requested name of the mailing list: wiscom@lists.wikimedia.org

Reasoning/explanation of purpose:

the goal is to have a mailing list for the African committee. for all users who want to contact us or suggest ideas. and for us to be able to write emails to our members without copying any email addresses.

You have successfully created the mailing list wiscom and notification has been sent to the list owner vikoula5@yahoo.fr. You can now:

Visit the list's info page
Visit the list's admin page

Hi @Vikoula5

i created the list and see the links above. I added the listed admins and then reset the password, so all admins should have received an email with a password to login on the admin page. You have received 2 mails because you were the initial admin (there can only be one before creating it), so for you the second email is the right one.

Please note there is just one password per list, so you all have to share it / keep it in sync.

Besides that i only set the list description and left all other settings at defaults and up to you to change if needed. This means public archives for example.

Note there is now the special email address wiscom-owner@lists.wikimedia.org to reach all the admins at once. Also see the "list run by" in the footer of the listinfo page.
