Description

The editing area is small when editing with Firefox source editor in mobile android.
In Chrome it's full screen.

For future reference, please follow https://www.mediawiki.org/wiki/How_to_report_a_bug and clearly state what happens (the lower part of the window is empty) and what is expected (the lower part of the window also shows the text of the wiki page). It took me a while to understand what you reported here.

Thank you for reporting, @Stryn and for helping to clarify the issue, @Aklapper.

@Stryn, while mobile is a focus of our team's this year [1], our work is focused on the mobile visual editor. Accordingly, we have had to de-prioritize mobile wikitext-related work.


  1. Team focus: refer to "Outcome 3.4" in the Foundations 2018-2019 annual plan

The same thing also happens in the Windows version of Firefox (I tested 67.0.4) when using the mobile wikitext editor. Once again, Chrome is unaffected.
