PAWS notebooks are essentially publicly listed via https://public.paws.wmcloud.org/ but that is not a very friendly interface for the use case of finding notebooks that meet certain search criteria, e.g. "mwparserfromhell AND wikisource", so having some basic search support would be useful.

To address potential privacy concerns, it should perhaps be piloted in a fashion that allows notebook users to opt in to having their files exposed through that search engine, leaving things as they are for everyone else. After the pilot phase, a switch to opt-out might be to consider.
