The latest version of an article is marked as reviewed when reviewing an older revision

Description

Issue raised here by @Nedops:

Problem:

  • Sometimes there are many pending revisions in an article. When you review a version between the last marked as reviewed and the latest, then the latest version gets marked as reviewed.

Example from plwiki:

  1. I went to this article
  2. Unmarked the latest (at that time) revision (this one)
  3. Went into one of the previous revisions (this one)
  4. Scrolled all the way to the bottom, clicked "Accept revision"
  5. The latest revision (and therefore the entire article) got marked as accepted (reviewing log)

In the diff view, the button "Accept revision" at top of the page seems to be working just fine.

As a side note, when it comes to the box on the bottom, the option to "advertise to other users that you are reviewing these changes” seems to be broken for years already.
