Steps to replicate the issue (include links if applicable):

• Have a user trip the edit filter
• Rename the user
• Try to search Special:AbuseLog for edits made by the former username (which is how it is currently stored in the abuselog)

What happens?:

• No results

What should have happened instead?:

• Ideally, a search for the new username would find the edits, but this is the longstanding bug T27377
• The search should find matches where the text of the search input matches the text of the username value

This approach should stop gap the problem from T27377, as it is not dependent upon the rename system
