Enable map preview in wikibase.cloud instances for GlobeCoordinate claims
Open, Needs TriagePublicFeature

Description

Feature summary (what you would like to be able to do and where):

The small map preview in the Wikidata UI for things like coordinate location claims is super helpful. We'd like this feature enabled for wikibase.cloud instances of a Wikibase.

Use case(s) (list the steps that you performed to discover that problem, and describe the actual underlying problem which you want to solve. Do not describe only a solution):

Not so much a problem as a missing capability. @GreenReaper referred to this GitHub issue (now T357047) as discussing the technical challenge.

Benefits (why should this be implemented?):

In one of the wikibase.cloud instance I'm working on, we have thousands of items where we might have one or more point locations associated with things like mining facilities or other geographic features of interest. One of the things we are hoping Wikibase can help us resolve are the cases where we have multiple competing claims about locations, all of which are "correct" at some level as reported in original sources. While we have developed tools to pull items via SPARQL into a GIS environment for visualization and analysis, it would be really helpful in many cases to scan through a set of records in the wikibase UI and visually examine point locations on "mini-maps" in connection with the other information in the claims (qualifiers and references). This can allow us to make choices about the specific claims that are most suited to a particular analytical use and then take those selection criteria into a next step. The built-in map viewer in WQDS is also helpful in this regard, but the small map view in context with an entire item can also be a powerful addition.
