Steps to replicate the issue (include links if applicable):
- Visit https://commons.wikimedia.org/wiki/Special:UploadWizard?uselang=sms
- Choose any picture (you won't actually upload it, you just need to get to the next step)
- The "(learn more)" links after each license go to e.g. https://creativecommons.org/publicdomain/zero/1.0/deed.sms , which doesn't exist (because there is no translation of that license into sms).
What happens?:
- You arrive at a 404 Not Found page on CreativeCommons.org
What should have happened instead?:
- Either Creative Commons should add redirects for deed.*** URLs (that would be an Upstream issue), or
- We should maintain a list of translations CC licenses have, and only link them in case a translation exists (link to a fallback language or en if a translation doesn't exist).
