A while ago this worked properly.

Steps to replicate the issue:

Change #1019183 had a related patch set uploaded (by Wargo; author: Wargo):

[mediawiki/extensions/InputBox@master] Display namespace name instead of its ID in checkboxes' labels

This was also reported in fiwiki and I confirmed that it is broken in enwiki too.

The problem was also noted in it.wiki on the page Aiuto:Aiuto, where there is an inputbox with the possibility of choosing namespaces.
