Description

Steps to replicate the issue (include links if applicable):

  • Go to a random wiki page, logged in, e.g. https://wikisource.org/wiki/Main_Page
  • Not sure if my default language is a factor, but I set mine as Indonesian language
  • Click on the (interface) language selector, hover mouse over "American English"

What happens?:

It shows "undefined". I understand this is the local language name of hovered language. For example, if I hover "English", it gives me "Inggris", which is the Indonesian name for the language, etc.

FWIW I searched in translatewiki, but couldn't find the string.

What should have happened instead?:

It should display the local name of "American English", which is "Inggris Amerika". Other language names are also need to be translated to Indonesian. I can't find where to translate it in the documentation https://www.mediawiki.org/wiki/Universal_Language_Selector

Software version (on Special:Version page; skip for WMF-hosted wikis like Wikipedia):
