This is a Phabricator task to publicly track the Securepoll work around the Movement Charter ratification vote. Voter information will be provided through Meta-Wiki.

Tentative Timeline

• 14 May–22 June: Setup
  • Identify two scrutineers (typically, from current stewards)
  • Create two a blank elections on votewiki
  • Make the scrutineers election admins on votewiki
  • Patch voter tables into all wikis per per documentation on Wikitech
  • Import the list of eligible voters
  • Configure the election on votewiki
  • Import translations
  • Verify the list of election admins

• 25 June – 9 July 2024: Voting period
• 9 July–: Tallying period
  • Scrutineers run necessary checks to strike votes submitted by socks or placed illegally
  • The Trust-and-Safety team or someone with shell access runs the tally via command line
  • Scrutineers confirm that the result posted on wiki matches the result from the tally
