We're working on changing the layout for the top of articles on mobile web. Documented here: https://www.mediawiki.org/wiki/Reading/Features/Article_lead_image
**Problem**
There is a lot of interface at the top of the article, and you must scroll before you can understand: am I in the right place? And then, where is the information that I want to know?
**Goal of redesign **
Allow the reader to see the most relevant, readable information about the subject quickly with less distraction.
The design does that by focusing on the image, title, first paragraph, and then the infobox. It shows a consistent layout of image and title together.
**Questions for research**
How can we test which layout people prefer?
Can we get the volunteer community (who may be active on the talk page for https://www.mediawiki.org/wiki/Reading/Features/Article_lead_image) to participate in research?
