I see one definite issue of horizontally scrolling the Workboard pages on Internet Explorer 11. One is clicking the ~~top~~ __upper__ horizontal scrollbar at the bottom of a Workboard page, like this one and that one
When using the Internet Explorer, the sequences occur:
# I move the (mouse) cursor down to the bottom of a Workboard page
# I click the ~~top~~ __upper__ horizontal scrollbar. No double-clicking or anything like that. Just a simple one-click action.
## Alternatively, I single-click either the left or right arrow of the ~~top~~ __upper__ horizontal scrollbar
# When I move the cursor to either the left or right, the page moves to the opposite direction.
## When I move to the left, the page goes right.
## When I move to the right, the page goes left.
# In other words, the page automatically moves in either opposite horizontal direction after I click the scroll and whenever I move the cursor around.
# To stop the cursor from automatically moving the page, I click one of open areas, like either the open white area within a Workboard page or the left panel menu.
## Alternatively, I can click one of the task boxes. If I click a task link, I simply go to a task page.
Because of that~~In summary, I just rely more on a scroll wheel to move a page.on Internet Explorer, Howeverthe top __upper__ horizontal scrollbar has technical issues, and using a scroll wheel to move a Workboard page in IE11 is also either annoying or burdensome. There are two scenarios of using a scroll wheel in various Workboard pages:s less than convenient.~~ I can create a video of the sequences for a better picture and then upload it to YouTube if visual demonstration and better clarity needed.
Scenario A: Going to a Workboard page with an open area
# I click the wheel on one of the boards, and I move that board only up or down. I can't move left or right.
# However, I can move the cursor to a smaller board containing a few or less open tasks, like the "Herald rules" board.
## I click either a task box or any content within the grey area.
## The mouse cursor becomes a page moving cursor.
## I move the cursor anywhere, and the page moves in any direction that I want. For example, I move left, and the page moves left.
# Nonetheless, the cursor doesn't become a page moving cursor when I click the wheel on an open white area.
Scenario B: Going to a Workboard page without enough free areas to use
# Same as event #1 from Scenario A.
# There are no less than four or five task on each board, depending on size of each task box. However, to automatically move the page with the cursor, I just click the wheel on one of the board headers, like "Untriaged" or "Triaged".
## I move the cursor, which becomes a four-way arrow cursor, anywhere, and the page moves to any direction that I want.
# Same as event #3 from Scenario ~~B~~ __A__.
Maybe my other issue with moving/scrolling a page is using a scroll wheel properly, especially when clicking the wheel on an open white area is technically impossible.~~I can explain different experiences on scrolling a Workboard page with other browsers, I don't know whether Workboard pages have technical limits/issues on IE 11like Chrome, ~~but is scrolling a page after clicking a wheel on the white area possible?at other tasks as this is very long to explain.~~
I found out it's technically possible but not exact. I just can't click the wheel on a white area **//within//** the Workboard. I just click the wheel on either the grey left panel or an open white area **//outside//** the main Workboard, which is between two horizontal scrollbars once scrolled to open the area. However, by moving the cursor after clicking the wheel, I just move the lower (probably main?) horizontal scrollbar. I also can scroll up or down to move the main vertical scrollbar, located at the farthest/far right, of a Workboard page.
In summary, on Internet Explorer, the ~~top~~ __upper__ horizontal scrollbar has technical issues, and using a scroll wheel to move a Workboard page is less than convenient. I can create a video of the sequences for a better picture and then upload it to YouTube if visual demonstration and better clarity needed.
