Description

List of steps to reproduce:

Open a page in the 2017 wikitext editor
Add a link and use the pipe trick (such as [[Littoral Region (Cameroon)|]] on English Wikipedia)
Switch to the VisualEditor

What happens?:
The link is displayed as plain text (such as just "[[Littoral Region (Cameroon)|]]").

What should have happened instead?:
The link should have displayed an actual link with the correct label (in this case, "Littoral Region")
