SRE Clinic Duty Confirmation Checklist for Access Requests

This checklist should be used on all access requests to ensure that all steps are covered, including expansion to existing access. Please double check the step has been completed before checking it off.

This section is to be confirmed and completed by a member of the SRE team.

  • - User has signed the L3 Acknowledgement of Wikimedia Server Access Responsibilities Document.
  • - User has a valid NDA on file with WMF legal. (All WMF Staff/Contractor hiring are covered by NDA. Other users can be validated via the NDA tracking sheet)
  • - User has provided the following: wikitech username, email address, and full reasoning for access (including what commands and/or tasks they expect to perform)

Access to full superset information, especially for the banner bump investigation

This sounds like ssh-less access to analytics-privatedata-users group

Approved!

Hello, looks like we still have a few steps to check off before proceeding with granting access:

@AnnWF could you please review and sign the L3 Acknowledgement of Wikimedia Server Access Responsibilities Document?

@KFrancis could you please confirm that we have an NDA on file for @AnnWF? (I didn't see one in the tracking sheet)

@XenoRyet as you are listed as the approving party in the description could you please leave a comment noting approval on this task?

Thanks in advance!

Hi @AnnWF Friendly ping that this access request is currently waiting for a step from you to sign L3. Everything else looks done with the NDA and approval.

Hi @Ottomata , I just want to double check with you, Wenjun's access is ssh-less access to analytics-privatedata-users group, right? If so, to remove their public key from the task description.

Hi @XenoRyet , do you approve ssh-less access to the analytics-privatedata-users group for Wenjun Fan ?

Wenjun's access is ssh-less access to analytics-privatedata-users group, right? If so, to remove their public key from the task description

Correct.

@AnnWF is this now a duplicate, since you were added to analytics_privatedata_users in https://phabricator.wikimedia.org/T324057?

akosiaris subscribed.

Since there are no updates on this task and it pretty much appears to be a duplicate of T324057, I 'll resolve as invalid (not merging for now as duplicate in case we want to reopen it). Feel free to re-open.
