Mock History

Current Revision5

@Nirzar, this list style is a deviation of other list styles captured here. You don't have to change anything, but when this is implemented, would you take a screenshot and document this list style within this folder?

@violetto sure I will add it. this was part of the tableviews for iOS. from iOS specifications.

@Nirzar please update the mocks to change the "clear all recents" button to the new trash icon.

@Nirzar what's the spacing here?

@Nirzar what did you imagine for how cells would appear when scrolled under the search field? the animation video gives the search bar a shadow, which would make it intuitive for cells to simply slide under it. but, if there's no shadow, we should do something so they don't get "clipped" as they scroll under the search field; perhaps by either make the search bar translucent via blur & vibrancy or maybe a white shadow/gradient.

@Nirzar i'm going to implement this way, but some food for thought: do you find it at all strange that there are two "X" buttons next to each other that do different things? should we consider using a "done" button here?

I don't think #0C0C0C is what you intended:

is the spacing here also 15pts? Also a lot of these are written as "px," but I assume you mean points?

Yes, we thought about it, but considering that it wont be a big problem. also if the usability test we will do later reveals this as a problem, we can do "done" but that is not likely.

I think we decided that we gonna do shadow only when you scroll

Just talked to @Nirzar, since the circle X is the standard clear/delete in iOS we'll stick with that for this iteration. We just need to be consistant across search, Recents and Saved.

I do think having three (x) symbols (one to close search, one to delete all, oen to delete query) is potentially confusing, but lets move forward with this, and I'll be sure its something we explicitly test for/ask about in user testing.

@JMinor you wont be seeing the recent results if you are typing and seeing the "clear textfield" cross. so only 2 crosses at any given time
