Colors used for Flow-Echo notifications are too confusing!
Open, MediumPublic

Description

Before the notifications started to be like

I already had trouble understanding which ones were unread and which ones I had read, now it is even worse!

The unread ones are those highlighted with a dark background, right? Nope! Differently from what someone used to the Watchlist would think, the light items are the unread ones, and the dark items are the read ones. This is confusing! It is even more confusing due to the fact that if my mouse is over the list of notifications (which is very likely right after opening the menu), the dark color changes back to a light color! Not to mention that having the colors to change from the "read" color to the "unread" color (as in the video), just a second after I'm start to understand what I'm seeing, makes things even more confusing...

Yeah, the standard for whether light/dark = unread/read is mixed. Gmail uses light for unread, Facebook and Twitter use dark for unread.

One design cue is that the unread notifications are on top, the read ones below. If you read a notification, then the next time you open the panel, the read one moves to the read notifications. So all of the notifications at the top of the panel are the unread ones.

Hi @He7d3r! With improvements like read/unread toggle has this task changed and the problems stated probably resolved for you?
