MITRE is a set of Federally Funded Research and Development Centers working in the public interest for the United States government. We will talk about the MITRE Gestalt Wiki Framework which includes patterns, extensions, and wiki farms. We have evolved our wiki farm deployment process to a science. We can tar up an entire wiki farm and move it to a new VM within minutes. We have contributed 12 extensions to the open source community and are poised to contribute more. We are collaborating with NASA to foster the use of MediaWiki for third parties as a part of the MediaWiki Stakeholders' Group.
