In the German Wiki appear sometimes, but not always, entries in the patrol log if you review a page, as you can see here. That causes that some logs of pages and users are full of log entries, that no one needs. To get a more clear look for the logs, it would be heplful to assign the patrolmarks or the patrol permission to all users.

Could you discuss this idea on wiki and get a local consensus there to give these rights?
You also should define "all users": that could be any user registered, autoconfirmed, etc.
This right hasn´t any purpose except of hiding this log entries at the German Wikipedia, because we use Flagged Revs there. And all users means in this case everyone, IPs too.
Thank you for clarification about "anyone".
Please open a discussion on the local project and get a consensus for this, this is required for every change, regardless of impact.
I don't see the need to ask for consensus for such a minor and uncontroversial change. No need to bureaucratise simple maintenance requests. A discussion here is imho enough.
I personally think that switching off patrolmarks on dewiki completely makes moor sense because it is defacto not in use and just creating unnecessary logentry's.
27:2 votes in favor of the change, and the two negative votes are criticizing the format of the poll, not the actual change. Is that consensus enough?
Change 218901 had a related patch set uploaded (by Dereckson):
User rights configuration on de.wikipedia
Indeed. Why not just set [[ https://www.mediawiki.org/wiki/Manual:$wgUseRCPatrol | $wgUseRCPatrol ]] / [[ https://www.mediawiki.org/wiki/Manual:$wgUseNPPatrol | $wgUseNPPatrol ]] to false? That's how FlagRev is used on the Hungarian Wikipedia and we had no problems with it.
