en.m.wikipedia, "mobile," Dark Gray Bar Over Search Field
Closed, DuplicatePublic

Blackberry 9930 with Operating System 7.

When I browse to en.m.wikipedia, the field for typing a search term is covered by a thick dark gray bar.

When I click on the dark gray bar, the mobile menu pops into the left side of the display, and the right side of the display is covered with a translucent white haze. Still, no search field.

When I click on the translucent white haze, the menu goes away, and where the search field is supposed to be, it's still covered by a thick dark gray bar.

I've tried reloading and varying my font size, but to no avail. It's been like this for a couple of months.

My only workaround is to use desktop wikipedia on my old phone.

I acknowledge that the mobile search field had a problem last year, also. If I clicked in the search field, I wouldn't get a cursor, so I couldn't type in to the field. That problem was fixed after a while.

Oh yeh, this task is a duplicate of T98498. Honest, I did a few searches, and didn't find the problem was already reported. Can someone combine them into a single task for me?

Screen shot; good idea.
