I recently made an account at pagebanner.wmflabs.org and received a confirmation e-mail that led me to a URI of the sort: http://wikibanner.wmflabs.org/wiki/Special:ConfirmEmail/[string of characters]. This URI will not load. I have tried several browsers and settings and I get error messages like "This webpage is not available ERR_NAME_NOT_RESOLVED" and "Address Not Found. wikibanner.wmflabs.org could not be found. Please check the name and try again." I get identical messages when I try to go to http://example.example/.

I guess this is a request for Cloud-Services. #dev.wikimedia.org has nothing to do with this.
Also, even when the problem might be important, we use "Unbreak Now!" only in very special circumstances.
@Koavf, if you need quick support you can go to Cloud-Services IRC and ask, pointing to this task.
This is a task for whoever is maintaining that particular setup of labs vagrant, not much anyone else can do to help.
Try changing http://wikibanner.wmflabs.org in the url to http://pagebanner.wmflabs.org -- a wrong hostname in e-mails sounds like a misconfiguration of mediawiki to me.
I changed the original 'this url also doesn't work' text; please refrain from using offensive language on phabricator.
wikibanner.wmflabs.org doesn't exist but pagebanner.wmflabs.org does. If you're getting a http://wikibanner.wmflabs.org/wiki/Special:ConfirmEmail/%5Bstring type of url in the email, then something's probably configured incorrectly on the MediaWiki side.
I think this setup is maintained by, iirc, @Sumit (for GSoC).

I didn't think anyone would be offended--this was just a reference to a Saturday Night Live sketch.
Sorry for the inconvenience caused. http://pagebanner.wmflabs.org is just a test wiki whose Server path I had changed to preserve the url and hence the address mentioned in emails does not work.
The issue is purely local. I'll try to fix the wrong urls in emails.
I have disabled emails on the wiki, so emails with invalid urls may not be a problem for new users. This will in no way affect the purpose of the wiki for testing the banners, so I'm closing this.
