4.1.5.145 on iPad mini.

Have your device lang and Wikipedia lang as English.

2, Perform search for Tornado and click on the first item in Search results - 'Tornado' article.
The lang icon will be disabled.

Change Wikipedia language to Espanol and search for Tornado. The article is displayed in Spanish.
Click on the lang icon - many lang options are present, including Englsih

Checked on iPhone iOS 6.1.3 and iPad mini with iOS 8.2 - seems to be working: the lang icon is active for 'Tornado' article.

Checked 4.1.5.146 on iPad mini iOS 8.2.
