@Paladox: After you added me 10+ times to random tasks/patches, I've twice sent you notice privately to please stop adding me on random tasks/patches.
Since you are apparently not stopping, let me ask you in public too:

Please stop adding me on random tasks/patches :-)

I am a volunteer like you, and I've got nothing to do with diffusion, and I've got no clue how it's configured.
So I am definitely the wrong guy to get added here.

Sorry I thought your the one that had access to phabricator. it seems you only have access to gerrit I wont add you any more.

Please provide specific use cases for requests.
I have no idea what "Edit files" means or not, and why you'd want that.
You've been pointed to https://www.mediawiki.org/wiki/How_to_report_a_bug for a few times now, please stop ignoring that page.

I mean to be able to files through phabricator built in file editor for editing code.

And to see what I mean go to https://phabricator.wikimedia.org/diffusion/MW/ and try clicking edit repository it shows that an admin can only do that but project authors should be able to do that.

then go to https://phabricator.wikimedia.org/diffusion/MW/browse/master/.gitattributes and try to click open editor it doesent work when clicked it just shows greyed out. users should have the ability to do that.

And I do read it. it is just I carnt think of a good tittle.

phabricator built in file editor for editing code.

Are you sure such thing exists? See T409: Editing files and contributing changes via web

go to https://phabricator.wikimedia.org/diffusion/MW/ and try clicking edit repository

That would allow you to edit some properties of the repository, but not code.

Yes because when you click the file you want to view it shows a button that says open editor.

This is related to https://secure.phabricator.com/book/phabricator/article/external_editor/

Opening files with an editor is one thing. Submitting changes through the web UI is another thing.

There is no built in code editor, as Qgil said, it's just a link to your own local text editor, and it requires some setup.

Regarding editing of repository configuration, that is limited to phabricator admins and for good reason.

But I mean like a project author can edit it but is limited to what he or she can edit.
