Description

php5-mcrypt is installed, but does not seem to be enabled (T103059: Croptool does not work on php 5.4).

https://magento.stackexchange.com/questions/35887/call-to-undefined-function-mcrypt-module-open-in-var-www-vhosts-mywebsite-co suggests it needs to be enabled with php5enmod, i.e., linked from /etc/php5/mods-available/ to /etc/php5/cgi/conf.d/.
