This is probably a Latex error.

In the source code of OCG there is a reference to:

Remove JFIF resolution information from JPGs; bogus resolution information
can cause LaTeX to abort with a "dimension too large" error if the
computed "actual size" of the image is enormous (regardless of the fact
that we're going to scale it to fit anyway).

But all images there seem to be SVG...

Perhaps it's the math tags ?

As already announced in Tech News, OfflineContentGenerator (OCG) will not be used anymore after October 1st, 2017 on Wikimedia sites. OCG will be replaced by Electron. You can read more on mediawiki.org.
