Hi,
Lately when I edit posts on my user talk page in he.wikipedia, Ctrl-Home behaves strangely.
To reproduce:
- Open a new reply.
- Type: "* one" (the text is supposed to auto-convert itself into a list)
- Type: "* two"
- Press Ctrl-Home
Expected: The cared should be at the beginning of the first list item, before the letter 'o'. Typing "The " should produce the text "The one".
Observed: "+Insert paragraph" is shown. Pressing any letters does nothing. Typing further is possible only after moving down with arrow keys or clicking the mouse somewhere in the text.
This is an exaggeration. It's imaginable that I'd want to add something before the list, but intuition tells me that the more frequent thing to do would be to type something in the beginning of the first item. (At least that's what I wanted to do in all the times when it happened to me lately.) If I did want to add text before the list, it would make more sense to me to do it by putting the caret at the beginning of the first item and pressing Enter twice, or something along these lines.
