Steps to reproduce
- Go to en.wikipedia.org "Yosemite National Park"
- Tap lead image
- Wait for high-res version to download
- Zoom all the way in
- Pinch to zoom all the way back out
Expected results
Image zooms in & out w/o showing white flickers around the border
Actual results
White background flickers around the edges of the image
Dev Notes
We use a white background on the image to handle cases where the image has an alpha component (see Water / Chemical and Physical Properties / "Model of hydrogen bonds"). We need to attempt to detect when an image is opaque so we can hide the background and prevent flickering.
