Certificate error on https://www.meta.wikimedia.org/ redirect
Closed, DuplicatePublic

Description

https://www.meta.wikimedia.org/ gives a ssl_error_bad_cert_domain error.

(To clarify, if this redirect to meta.wikimedia.org were to be removed entirely, my own personal mourning period would be a rather brief one involving only a limited amount of tears, but a while ago people seem to have thought it would be a good idea: T3698: Make www.$1.wiki(media|pedia...).org redirect to $1.wiki(media|pedia...).org, and I just saw someone using such a link in an internal document.)

www.$lang.$project.org domains were also killed recently due to this issue (T102815).

I think this should also probably be killed considering that www.lang domains were killed even though there is heavier linking to those domains. Same issue for www.commons and www.nl. (cc. @BBlack)
