Like - that readme can totally be a "this is how we plan for it to work" at first but will be modified to be "this is how to do it" once we implement it.

The scheme has been added as a section here https://wikitech.wikimedia.org/wiki/Search#Multi-DC_Operations and the codfw setup as it stands how has been integrated into the details above it.
