Description

an example:
https://www.facebook.com/pages/San-Pedro-de-Macor%C3%ADs-Dominican-Republic/115215365160306

has an edit link to directly open the edit window in wikipedia. coming from facebook with visual editing, it would be great if it goes to the visual editor as well in wikipedia.

Do you propose this as an upstream task for Facebook? Or do you want Wikimedia to intercept edit links that include a Facebook HTTP referer and change them from action=edit to veaction=edit?

I think you need to file a feature request on Facebook. I'm not sure about where you'd do it though.

Not really. It's not a redlink. https://en.wikipedia.org/w/index.php?title=San_Pedro_de_Macor%C3%ADs&action=edit There's an "Edit on Wikipedia" link while logged in.
