Thanks for taking the time to report this!

Where is the code of that extension located nowadays? https://www.mediawiki.org/wiki/Extension:QrCode links to SVN which is dead nowadays (and also leads to the question how maintained that code is). That page also says "MediaWiki 1.12 - 1.17.x" but we're at 1.25 nowadays. Has anyone tested whether that extension works in recent MediaWiki versions? What were the results?

Furthermore, this extension has not been deployed on any Wikimedia site yet. Hence it needs to be reviewed first before this request can be fulfilled. Please see Review for deployment for how to proceed.

Thanks for pointing out the issues.
I just emailed Kwisatz (the author of the extension) through MediaWiki asking him if he could provide us with the code in some way.

No I cannot :D I didn't look at the content, I just found the link on https://www.mediawiki.org/wiki/Extension:QrCode and posted it, in case it contains something useful. Please ignore it, if it doesn't :D

Looks like the extension is unmaintained and not even on Git. Unfortunately, there is no chance of getting it deployed to Wikimedia wikis at its current state.

Why not just decline this? It's archived one year ago

However, I will check if the community is still interested in QR codes.
