It will be nice to get translation support for the Semantic Cite extension. Already requested at twn directly but so far with no status. Not sure about the current process so I am posting here. Thanks and cheers

- Please complete message documentation. 29 message are currently not documented
- «$1» in "sci-scite-parser-no-type" looks French (?). Standard is " "
- Same for "sci-scite-parser-no-citation-text"
- "smw-pa-property-predefined__sci_cite_key" and all following: Double spaces are not possible as page title. MediaWiki shrinks them to a single space.
"smw-pa-property-predefined__sci_cite_key" and all following:
I see what you mean but somehow it seems possible: example commit by twupdaterbot
Weird. I have no idea why this works. The message on translatewiki has one space only:
https://translatewiki.net/wiki/MediaWiki:Smw-pa-property-predefined_sbl_parentpage/de
That makes two of us. I guess this is destined to break without notice at some point in time, so I will look closer on how to avoid this.
The way things currently are (see here - patchwork message key), the issue with the two consecutive underscores cannot be overcome. Since this was the only remaining obstacle I would like to suggest that we "risk" adding initial translation support as is like for the other working extension. The only alternative right now is not to have translation support.
Added to twn with https://gerrit.wikimedia.org/r/236826. Updating twn now and looking what explodes...
TWN updated: https://translatewiki.net/wiki/Special:Translate/ext-semanticcite. Works well.
Next step: 1st Export of translations this night
Export works well with 2 underscores, see https://gerrit.wikimedia.org/r/#/c/237231/1/i18n/es.json,unified
Still no idea why it works....
