Showcase/inspire: presenting Wikidata knowledge
Closed, DeclinedPublic

@Lydia_Pintscher suggests as a simpler alternative to T92003: Showcase/inspire: Magnus Manske's awesome Wikidata work (Reasonator, Autodesc). It's a book recommendation website that uses Wikidata entities directly to present multilingual book and author information.

Suggested article name API:Presenting knowledge from Wikidata ?

Note: Using some other resource identifier like doi or isbn in your app and then looking up Wikidata information for that identifier is not yet supported, even though lots of Wikidata entities have these external identifiers. (Using page titles on some Wikipedia as identifiers works, because we push the wikibase_item as an output property and wgWikibaseItemId as a JS configvar to every page, but page titles change.)

The Web-APIs-Hub project is dead hence mass-declining its tasks to reflect reality. It might be superseded by a Developer Portal in the future.
