I tried to reproduce this in the Tamil Wikipedia, and I managed to create a test page.

Does this still happen to you?

If it still happens, can you please open the JavaScript console (Ctrl-Shift-K in Firefox; Ctrl-Shift-K in Chrome) and paste any messages that appear there?

Thanks!

I analysed this. While you were translating this article, somebody added a new reference to the source article https://en.wikipedia.org/w/index.php?title=ISKCON_Temple_Bangalore&type=revision&diff=676749674&oldid=676117549.

There references list get renumbered, while your translation had a reference that point to a reference that moved its place. I will create a ticket to address this kind of cases in generic way.

But to publish your translation, please follow the steps

  • remove references from your translation and re-add it to the appropriate places with the help of reference tool(Place your cursor where you want to add a reference, click on source reference, from reference card, press Add translation)
  • publish again.
