decom ishmael

Description

T82225 asks to puppetize and and package ishmael.wikimedia.org which was partly done but not all the way

per T82225#1555735 our current DBA(s) also don't use it

that makes me think nobody uses it and we should just decom it.

yea, he basically answered already on T82225#1556293 so i i see no reason to keep ishmael. that would mean reject tickets to fix stuff inside ishmael.

13:31 < mutante> !log service "ishmael" has been removed (T109777) - removed docroot on neon. tarball exists in /root just in case. code is on https://github.com/asher/ishmael

removed from DNS and sent an "End of Life" mail to ops too
