[improvement suggestion] Special:RecentChanges should have "Show IP edits" checkbox because IP users commit most of the vandalism
Closed, DeclinedPublic

Description

Currently changes from all users are all mixed into one list, and it is difficult to find bad edits. It would be very beneficial to be able to select only IP users. I believe this could reduce the efforts to weed out vandalism edits a lot.

Additionally, it would be very useful to also be able to select users with "poor reputation" (who got banned/reverted) a lot.

For more advanced pattern recognition and counter-vandalism programs, generally it's better to use third-party software that can process data asynchronously. For Wikimedia wikis there are several popular tools such as ClueBot, CVNBot, RTRC, and more recently ORES which provides a real-time feed of wiki edits that it predicts should be reverted – based on past data and analysis.
