I haven't followed the Raita development ( http://raita.wmflabs.org/ ) and I am not familiar with any of the technology involved (Riot , ElasticSearch).

It would be nice to have a basic tutorial to setup a local dev environment and potentially a way to mock Elastic Search with a set of data for easiness.

Gladly! There's a Vagrant role that you can start with—it includes test data—but we can definitely pair on it as well.

I haven't thought about MediaWiki Vagrant :-} Thanks, I guess that cover my needs.
