The entire Wikimedia community benefits from it, so help is highly welcome.
Also, the Community-Tech team looks like another natural candidate to be involved this year.

Help with what? :) Is there anything I can do, technical stuff or wiki stuff or something I can do?

Created initial stub at https://www.mediawiki.org/wiki/Google_Code-in_2015 - LST does not seem to like translation markers, sigh.

Thanks for the interest in helping! Appreciated.
Let me wait for some more instructions for organizations then we will be able to tell more.
For example, last time Google wanted to see some task ideas already listed somewhere (=wikipage) when applying (that's Nov 03rd). I have no idea if that's again the case but I'd love to avoid that as importing from wiki into Google's Melange system was a bit cumbersome. Plus Google does not plan to use Melange anymore this year but a new system that is not available yet. Hence quite some question marks here...
