Missing 'View changes' for entries on User talk pages with Flow enabled (page-level diff)

Description

Comparing 'View changes' option presence for actions on User talk pages:

Production: 'View changes' is present for '[user] left a message on your talk page' - that essentially means: adding a topic on a user talk page.

Betalabs - with 'Flow on user talk' enabled,

  • 'View changes' is not present in Echo notifications nor on Notification page

  • changes are tracked only by topics, not by replies which is confusing.

Flow doesn't use diffs in the same way as wikitext talk pages, which is why "View changes" is not used there.

Can you expand on "changes are tracked only by topics, not by replies which is confusing."?

For Flow, replies should show like:

Yeah, this is working as designed. We've talked about page-level diffs, but haven't built it yet -- it's something that we could do whenever Flow resumes active development.

I'll put this in the freezer.

I linked a couple relevant feature requests in the description. I'm confident Flow never supported 'View changes' as a full-board or full-topic diff though.
