When looking at the entire US, no labels at all are shown in the northwest and southeast of the country. In California, San Jose (isn't San José in Costa Rica?) is labeled but San Francisco is not (is this a population thing maybe?). In the off-screen part of Canada, only Calgary is labeled.
Zooming in one level only adds a few labels and mostly in regions that already had them (new labels are Edmonton, Indianapolis, Columbus, Charlotte, Jacksonville, Austin, San Antonio). Major cities like Vancouver, Seattle, Boston and Denver are still unlabeled.
Zooming in further adds the most of the major west coast cities, but not all of them: Victoria and Sacramento are unlabeled. Everything more than 50 miles from the coast is also unlabeled, with the sole exception of Denver. I would at least expect labels for Salt Lake City, Spokane, Boise, Helena and Reno.
Zooming in even further, more cities in California are now labeled, as is Las Vegas, but Salt Lake City is still unlabeled despite being quite clearly identifiable. There are also no labels in Nevada (apart from Las Vegas off-screen); I'd expect Reno, Elko and Winnemucca to be labeled.
