Right now, there is no way to record a multi-year gift in Civi: ie Adam Wight agrees to give WMF 100k per year for 5 years.

If the checks come every year, that's fine-ish. We just enter the gift as it's received. BUT it would be great to be able to have Civi track gifts that are promised to us, but have not been received yet. This functionality would improve our revenue forecasting abilities, and serve as a reminder to follow up if the gifts don't come in when anticipated.

If all 5 years of the gift is given upfront, there is no way to capture that. We have to set a google calendar reminder to enter the value of the gift the first day of each fiscal year. Ugh.

Timing: Would be nice to have, but we're surviving without it
