Event Timeline
This behavior will go away with T114460: As a first time user, I want to see information about new and most used features of the app
@JMinor can we get this prioritized? Since we are removing login from first launch, we need this so users can log in.
FYI: as long as a redesign isn't in scope for this card, it will be a 1 point story.
@Fjalapeno, its at the top of needs design and tagged for beta. so prioritized. I've edited the title so it doesn't just apply to first time experience.
@Nirzar, suggest we keep the existing log-in flow/design for now but please take a look. My only thought was to change "Skip" to "Cancel" since they are no longer skipping an on-boarding step. It'd be nice to take a visual pass to update to new look, but not needed for beta IMO.
Given that I am not logged in
When I go to the settings screen
Then I should see a settings item labeled "Log in to Wikipedia"
When I tap the "Log in" settings item
Then I should see the login modal
@JMinor there is a cell in settings called "log out <username>" we can re-use it to log in. so the same cell will say "Log in" if not logged in.
To follow up when TestFlight updates will be available
- on a clean installation
- entering incorrect Logn info. I observed again "NSURLErrorDomain error code -999" T93789: 4.0.7.8 - NSURLErrorDomain error code -999 with the first login
