an unnecessary warning is shown when saving a page in mobile VisualEditor using Firefox for Android

Description

After writing the edit summary and tapping Save in the mobile web VisualEditor, I see a warning about leaving the page despite having unsaved edits. This is unnecessary, because the edits are being saved.

This happened to me in Firefox for Android.

I could just reproduce it. I couldn't take a screenshot, because apparently my phone doesn't allow screenshot while a dialog is shown.

Are you testing on Firefox?

I use Chrome on Android

It doesn't happen on Chrome, but it does happen in Firefox.

I just made http://en.wikipedia.beta.wmflabs.org/w/index.php?title=UserMergefdiixo&diff=prev&oldid=285443 without a warning on Firefox

I can't reproduce this. This was probably resolved a long time ago. As an aside, there was actually some work done this week on this very problem, so maybe it had actually existed all these years but just got fixed?
