Wikimedia Etherpad server errors

Description

Most of our coordination documents live on Etherpad. Over the last two days the server has been extremely slow, read-only or returning frequent server errors like the following:

ReferenceError: Can't find variable: require

This is critical and time-sensitive, the problem has been reproduced from multiple browsers and networks.

27 requests, 850kb, 6.21s on http://etherpad.wikimedia.org/p/FRAnalyticsQ2FY16 with Firefox 41 here. Not any slower in Chromium 46 either.

ReferenceError: Can't find variable: require

Where exactly is that shown? Any source file and line information if that's the browser console?

Thanks for looking into this. It's working fine for me now but I had problems for the past 3 days. I copied the error messages verbatim.
