Provide a preview of what a technical roadmap would look like for MediaWiki. Focus, as is with most of the work of the Stakeholders' group, is on third-party requests.

Mark, should we retarget this to Wikimania?
Thanks for re-raising this issue. Yes, we should, but I think another great place to get input is EMWCon in NYC the month before Wikimania. I'm thinking, right now, that would give us a good 3rd party oriented, US, input while the Wikimania work would balance it with Wikimedia-centric, European, input.
I have an idea for how to build this collaboratively, and if this sort of idea sounds good then someone (me?) could act as a bridge between the two sessions.
What do you all think?
That sounds like a pretty good plan. We should come up with a list of points to discuss at both venue's to keep things consistent and fair (and anything learned at EMWCon should be brought forth at Wikimania!).
Yeah, definitely grab inputs and outputs from people at both places! My schedules getting squeezed so I may not make EmWcon and I'm not getting out to Esijno Lario for Wikimania so I'll work on the docs and wmf staff sides of things.
We did discuss this, but I'm not drawing up any notes (only[[ http://livestream.com/internetsociety/emwcon/videos/124046484 | this video ]])
Since EMWCon, the group has been working on a Memorandum of Understanding to discuss with the WMF. I think that has taken some priority at the moment (Others, please correct me)
