The blogreport.py script should be made to run on stat1003 (perhaps just by modifying the line "db_url = os.environ['BLOGREPORT_DB']" in the right way), so that @asherman can adapt the code for new purposes.
(The data can already be accessed on stat1003 via mysql --defaults-file=/etc/mysql/conf.d/research-client.cnf -hanalytics-store.eqiad.wmnet, in form of the table log.WikimediaBlogVisit_5308166, and Andrew has the necessary password.)
