We talked about this in todays developers retrospective meeting with @Aleksey_WMDE, @WMDE-leszek and @Ladsgroup. I'm picking this task up for a first round of investigation to make a more up to date list of browser tests we believe can be turned into unit tests (considering the current sub-task T95420).

Closing, not because what this task asks for shouldn't be done, but because having this ticket does not help actually making it happen. It's old, contains barely any information, and is not on any board that is relevant for the team(s) currently working on the codebase.
